Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you visit our website or contact us, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable local law.

1. Data controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

wdjs.it
Via Aleardo Aleardi, 11, 20154 Milano (MI), Italy
VAT / P.IVA: 12788690969
Email: startproject@wdjs.it

2. What data we collect

  • Contact data you provide via our forms or email: name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message.
  • Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and referring URLs.
  • Analytics and usage data generated through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide our services — legal basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To operate, secure and improve our website — legal basis: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Analytics and marketing cookies — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
  • To comply with legal obligations such as accounting and tax law — legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

4. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers acting as processors on our behalf — for example hosting, email, analytics and payment providers — under data processing agreements. These may include Stripe, Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site, and — only with your consent — analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica) to understand usage. You can manage or withdraw consent through your browser settings or our cookie banner at any time.

6. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure an adequate level of protection.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, accounting records are kept for the statutory period). Enquiry data is deleted once it is no longer needed.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact startproject@wdjs.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with its effective date.
